Our Ready to Rent workshop aims to empower participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to increase their understanding, readiness, and success in obtaining rental properties.

The workshop specifically addresses 3 key areas of:

           1. Education around. 

• Your rights as tenant 

• How to be seen and stand out during open homes 

• How to apply and what to say when filling in online forms and applications 

• How to look after a house 

• Who to contact if anything goes wrong  

  2. Consequences

• What happens if you don’t look after the houses that can cause 

• Health issues for you and your children/s especially rheumatic fever e.t.c 

• Stress that can lead to distress if served an eviction notice. 

• Due to too many people at the house 

• What happens if you don’t communicate  

  3. Finance

  • Capability and budgeting  

For the participants to be fully able to understand their rights and know the consequences of their actions as well as being financially savvy, Pacific Growth Services engages with experts in these areas to design the content and deliver it on the day.
